Fund the Dream

Boston Councillor Chuck Turner calls for the formation of a national coalition to "Fund the Dream." In her article, "Doubly Divided: the Racial Wealth Gap," United for a Fair Economy's Meizhu Lui elaborates on the theme by examining the structure of racial and ethnic inequality in the United States.

The Debate over Outsourcing

Many Boston Social Forum workshops and panels will be addressing the problem of outsourcing in a globalized economy. A workshop being prepared by the "Jobs and the New England Economy" track uses a paper by the North American Alliance for Fair Employment, "Outsource This? American Workers, the Jobs Deficit, and the Fair Globalization Solution" as a starting point for discussion.
